Fantasy Football League

Established in 2015, the TinCan Tavern Fantasy Football League was made up of two seperate divisions.  When more managers wanted to be involved, the Backroom Division was added to the league in 2018.  A few years later, the word had spread and the Bush League Division was formed in 2022.  This seemed to bring the league to new heights and in 2024 two more divisions had to be added; the Septic Tank Division and the Dead-Bottom Division.  Now six divisions and 62 managers make up the TCT FFL.  Do you think you have what it takes to dig your way up from the Dead-Bottom Division, wade through the Septic Tank Division, hack through the Bush League Division, break into the Backroom Division, and take a place among the Champion's Division?  The Commissioner is always looking for brave new managers...

What makes us different than your typical fantasy football league?

• The Managers - First and foremost, our managers are the backbone of the league.  Each division is full of interesting and entertaining managers with varying degrees of fantasy knowledge.  Their charisma is on full display not only in their gameplay but in the content they generate through our various platforms.
• The Tier System - Our managers are really put to the test through a grueling tier system.  A new manager to the league starts at the bottom in the Dead-Bottom Division and has to fight their way to the top through the Septic Tank Division, the Bush League Division, the Backroom Division, and into the Champion's Division.  As you progress through each tier, the competition gets harder and harder.  Only the best have what it takes to make it to the top and stay there.
• The Championship Belts - Each division champion becomes the bearer of that division's title (pictured left).  These are real deal custom made championship belts.  As pretty as they are, it's the respect that they receive that makes them so important.  From the Dead-Bottom to the Champion's Division, each title is a mark of pride in the league.
• An Active Website and Blog - As previously mentioned, our managers produce content.  One of those forms of content is this website and the blog below.  Managers are encouraged to submit stories to our editor, who reviews the story, edits it for grammar and typos, then posts the story exactly to that manager's specifications.  These articles can range from trash talk to legitimate league news.  Check back frequently for updates to the blog.
• A Dedicated Year-round Podcast - That's right.  The TinCan Tavern has it's own weekly podcast.  The Commissioner's Desk Podcast started in 2021 with the intent of being a league specific fantasy football podcast.  That vision morphed into something else during that first offseason and the numbers went through the roof.  During the regular season, the podcast covers league news, updates, and standings.  During the offseason football is occasionally discussed but it's mostly a show about whatever the Commissioner and his co-hosts want to talk about.  The offseason show is very difficult to explain, but with over 15 thousand downloads, it must provide some type of entertainment.
